Hey hey! This past weekend was my last weekend before the craziness of the holidays begin. I am so excited- I love everything about the holidays, I just wish they didn’t go by so fast! I took it easy and spent most of Sunday curled up on my couch reading “A Stranger in the House” by Shari Lapena. It was so good, I couldn’t put it down! I felt the same about her book “The Couple Next Door”. If you’re looking for a good read while traveling over the holidays I’d highly recommend both of these!
This casual look is a go to for me! Anytime I can throw basic pieces together to create a simple, causal look- I’m a fan! Speaking of basics- I’m putting together a post with pieces you should always have in your closet, so stay tuned for that!
I bought my vest a couple years ago, and have worn it a ton! I love this utility vest- the shawl front reminds me of the one I’m wearing. Here is another great option! Both of these vests are under $40. If you are looking for something that provides a little more warmth this utility jacket would be perfect!
If you could peek in my closet you would see a million black and white striped shirts- short sleeve, tanks, long sleeve. I just love them. You really can’t have enough! This striped shirt is really tempting me right now! How cute are the elbow patches!?
My jeans are the Jagger Skinny Jeans by Vigoss. They are incredibly comfortable, slimming and only $64! The over the knee boots I’m wearing aren’t available anymore but here is a pair very similar. I’ve shared a bunch of other over the knee options on this post. Over the knee boots aren’t for everyone, so here is a pair of leather booties that would look great with this outfit!
Do you have these pieces in your closet? What are the basics you can’t live without? Would love to hear!
